A stoic man with a stone-cold personality, always serious and always strict on the rules, but he preserves a lot of loyalty to the headmaster. Muertoz is a reaper that is strict on his code and takes everything seriously. Taking Responsibility and respect are his core principles. However, he has a soft spot for his adoptive child and his horses. Other than that, he scolds his brother/sister a lot, and also Jo and Phasaphia, for taking the reaper job unseriously; they're one of the lowest reaper ranks, after all.
